About us
Latin Flavor Uganda is a voluntary based dance company focusing on the latin dance styles.Founded in 2007 by Samuel Ibanda, a performer, dance Instructor and choreographer. Latin Flavor Uganda is made up of Dancers that have been trained voluntarily by Samuel Ibanda who also voluntarily perform on different occasions.
The main event by Latin Flavor Uganda is the monthly show at the Uganda National Cultural Centre, where the audience is entertained with a performance of Latin dances such as salsa, tango, rumba, samba, etc.
The purposes of Latin Flavor Uganda’s performances are to make other people enjoy themselves. Further it communicates the peace of mind and a stress-free life dance can give to you. These performances have been going on for now 4 years and are still ongoing. Latin Flavor Uganda is known for using the Latin Style of Dances to move people and keep them joyous. Latin Flavor Uganda has been quite successful in informing people through entertainment.
Mission Statement:
The Company’s mission is drawing attention to Ugandan physical abilities, and expose them to Ugandans themselves as well as an international audience. By creating awareness of the Ugandan resources it will be possible for the project to generate work relations as well as networking opportunities and new collaborations both nationally and internationally. The Latin dances are an important part of this project because the Latin rhythms are attached to the African rhythms – thus it is important that the Ugandan people understand that this cultural heritage is part of them. Furthermore the project wants to create awareness of dance by introducing more people to dance as well as lay emphasis on dance as a way of making a livelihood.

• We add more beauty to parties, functions and so on.
